Whether you need to add days or weeks to a specific date, count the days between two dates, or determine the week number within a year, this tool simplifies complex date arithmetic.

It supports options to exclude weekends and holidays from specific countries, making it ideal for business planning, project management, and personal scheduling.

How to Add Days to a Specific Date (With or Without Holidays/Weekends)

To add a specific number of days to a date:

  2. Enter the number of days you want to add (e.g., 10, 30, 90).
  3. Choose how to handle weekends and holidays:

    • Exclude weekends – Skips Saturdays and Sundays
    • Exclude major holidays – Skips public holidays for your selected country
    • Exclude weekends and major holidays – Skips both weekends and holidays
  4. If you selected a holiday exclusion option, choose your country from the dropdown.

    • Exclude major holidays – Excludes public holidays from the count
    • Exclude weekends and major holidays – Counts only business days
  4. If using holiday exclusion, select your country from the dropdown.
  5. Check the "include beginning and end dates" box if you want both boundary dates included in the count (adds 1 day to the result).
  6. Click "Calculate" to see the total number of days.

This is ideal for calculating vacation days, contract durations, age calculations, or time until an important event.

How to Calculate Week Numbers in a Year

To find the week number for a specific date within its year:

  1. Select any date from the date picker.
  2. Click "Calculate" to view:
    • The week number for your selected date (e.g., "Week 24 of 2025")
    • The total number of weeks in that year (52 or 53)
    • The number of remaining weeks until the end of the year

Week numbers are calculated using the ISO 8601 standard, which is widely used in business, logistics, and international scheduling. This feature is useful for fiscal planning, project timelines, and understanding your position within the year.
